Pupil Reports

PUPIL PROGRESS AND ATTAINTMENT

Pupil achievement is determined in two ways

1. Attainment: this refers to the National Curriculum levels that the children achieve at the end of Key Stage 1 (year 2) and at the end of Key Stage 2 (year 6).  The levels are obtained through Statutory Assessment Tests ( SATs)  By the end of Year 2, the expectation is that children will be working at level 2b or above; at Year 6 for children to be working at level 4 or above.

2. Progress: This refers to how well the pupils have progressed.  It is expected that all pupils make 2 levels of progression from the end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2) to the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6).
