Our Staff

A brief introduction of each member of staff

Nic Ilic is our Headteacher.  Mrs Ilic shares the teaching in the Thatchers class and is the PE subject co-ordinator and Assessment Leader.  Mrs Ilic loves doing fitness classes, playing and coaching hockey and will often go running.

Debbie Muir is our Assistant Headteacher and teaches The Potters Class (Reception & Year 1). Mrs Muir is our Early Years Leader and Literacy Leader for Key Stage One. Mrs Muir has two children and enjoys shopping and eating chocolate.

Natalie Digby is the class teacher for the Foresters class.  Miss Digby leads the team in Bushcraft and Key Stage Two residential activities and is also our English Leader.

Caroline Porch is the class teacher in the Weavers Class.  Miss Porch is also our Maths co-ordinator.

Charlotte Sides shares the teaching in the Thatchers class with Mrs Ilic.  Miss Sides is also our RE co-ordnator.

Tracey Blance teaches the Potters class on Fridays when the children go on their Welly Walks. She has two sons and lives in Westbury.  Mrs Blance is a poet and has had poems published. She also loves art.

Alix Cook teaches the Key Stage Two children covering teachers PPA time.  Mrs Cook has two children and loves dancing and reading.

Sara Priest teaches the Key Stage One children computing and is also our SENCo.  Mrs Priest enjoys scuba diving and loves computers, when they work!

Janet Aylesbury is the Senior teaching assistant, working mainly to support the older children.  Mrs Aylesbury lives in Crockerton and produces most of our Key Stage Two dramatic performances.  Her own children attended the school.  She is also the very proud Grandma of three.

Gill Fricker is our experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant in the Potters class.  She has two sons and lives on a farm with lots of animals.

Fiona Russell is a Teaching Assistant supporting the Thatchers class.  She is also the Senior Midday Supervisor and has the important job of supervising the hot lunches. She has four grown up sons.

Jemma Newbery is a teaching assistant working alongside the team in the Weavers class. She is also one of our Midday Supervisors and has two children attending the school.

Gill Boxall is a teaching assistant working alongside the team in the Thatchers class. She is also one of our Midday Supervisors.

Katie Symonds is one of our Midday Supervisors who look after the children at lunchtime and arranges the playground ‘Playpod’ sessions. Mrs Symonds has two children attending the school.

Michael Ferguson is one of our Midday Supervisors who look after the children at lunchtimes.

Janette Bawden is our Finance and Business Manager and organises lots of bits of paper in the school office.  Mrs Bawden has two grown up children.

Debbie Rickhuss is a peripatetic music teacher who is available to teach keyboard to the children on Thursdays.

Emma Bolton is a peripatetic music teacher who is available to teach recorder, clarinet and saxophone to the children on Mondays.
